Wes obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1989. In 1992, he graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1992 and joined Michaelis, Montanari & Johnson in 1994.

Using his extensive experience in legal writing and argument, Wes has been responsible for an impressive number of successful motions for summary judgment, appellate decisions, and other motions.

Wes is a member of the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

​

While attending college and law school, he served eight years in the United States Army Reserve.
