James P. Johnson
April 26, 1938 - December 12, 2014
James P. Johnson passed away at the age of 76 on December 12, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Johnson obtained his bachelor's degree from Colby College in Maine. After his graduation, he joined the Marine Corp and later retired as a Major. He served his country as both a fighter pilot and artillery unit officer in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he attended Loyola Marymount Law School and passed the State Bar becoming a California attorney. Mr. Johnson was a partner of a prominent law firm in Agoura Hills, CA and retired from the legal field after 40 successful years.
Mr. Johnson was born in Miami, Florida on April 26, 1938 to Perry and Joan Johnson. Early in his life, he often traveled and lived in numerous locations including Maine, Boston, Buenos Aires, Virginia, Washington DC, and Lebanon. Mr. Johnson resided in the Los Angeles area for over 40 years and finally settled in Agoura Hills, CA.
Mr. Johnson is sadly missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joy Johnson; his daughter, Holly (Johnson) Kramer; his step-daughter, Jennifer Kalinen; his brother, Larry Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jacob Kramer, Michael Kramer, Tarah Kalinen, and Jonathan Kalinen
